Cepheid Benelux BVBA
We are pleased to announce that from today Cepheid Benelux BVBA will be active in the Benelux region.
Cepheid Benelux BVBA will be the exclusive distributor of all the product ranges previously distributed by AlphaOmega Instruments-Diagnostics B.V.
Additionally Cepheid Benelux BVBA will take care of the promotion, sales and support of Cepheid’s SmartCycler® System: instrument and reagents.
Cepheid is an on-demand molecular diagnostics company that develops, manufactures and markets fully-integrated systems and tests for genetic analysis in the clinical, industrial and biothreat markets.
Of course you can find in the transitional period promotional material that still indicates AlphaOmega as being the distributor for the products mentioned. But as the persons working for AlphaOmega before are now active for Cepheid Benelux BVBA, the transition of all activities will be very smooth.
AlphaOmega has signed a licence agreement with the VU University Medical Center (Amsterdam, the Netherlands) to produce and commercialise EbSA plates.
EbSA(*) is the only ESBL Screening Agar that fulfils the requirements of the Dutch guideline for detection of ESBL-producing Enterobacteriaceae and the guideline of the European Committee on Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing (EUCAST).

Multi Drug Resistance Gram negatives: to further complete the hyplex® hygiene control product range hyplex® MBL ID and hyplex® CarbOxa ID were developed. You can run them together with hyplex® ESBL ID.
