The identical PCR protocol for all applications makes them very user-friendly.
Additionally they validated a very economical way to receive a quantitative answer!
Cepheid’s SmartKits and Bead based assays: primers & probes as well as the SmartMix (mastermix including hotstart Taq-polymerase) in bead format is really ideal!
It guarantees the end-user a very long stability with storage at 2-8°C.
This results in convenient, robust assays with guaranteed performance because of the easy-to-use format; from now on pipetting errors (due to small volumes & many steps) are over!
